This wine yeast is perfect if you have ingredients with a high malic acid that you want to reduce naturally. The Mangrove Jacks MA33 Acid reducing yeast can reduce malic acid by up to 35% creating a softer, smoother wine, that is still crisp but not sour, which allows the fruits flavours to really express themselves.
Normally the only way to reduce malic acid is by a malolactic fermentation at the end of the natural fermentation and this can be quite hard to achieve naturally.
The Mangrove Jacks MA33 acid recusing yeast is therefore perfectly suited to making country wines and rose wines as reducing the acids allows the fruity flavours to shine through.

Alcohol Tolerance: 14% ABV
Usage Directions: No rehydration required - add direct to grape must and stir well. For best results, ferment at 18 - 28°C (64 - 82°F).
